The Liverpool Harmonic Gospel Choir will be singing at West Kirby Methodist Church on Saturday, November 25th starting at 7.30 pm. This will be an evening full of lively music including some with a Christmas feel. Tickets cost £5 (£2 for under 18s) and will be available from the church office, on the night or can be reserved by calling Dirk on 07847 739 533 or 0151 625 3224. All are very welcome.

The choir grew from a Community Education Project run by the Royal Liverpool Philharmonic Society in 1994. The project aimed to develop the social and artistic talents of the inner city communities of Liverpool. Since its inception, the choir has sung at the opening Ceremony to celebrate Liverpool’s Capital of Culture 2008 and the Slavery Remembrance Day at the Anglican Cathedral, as well as supporting Nina Simone and Ladysmith Black Mambazo. The choir delivers exciting and moving performances through a mix of traditional and contemporary gospel and inspirational music.

West Kirby Methodist Church aims to serve the community of West Kirby. The church is on Westbourne Road in West Kirby, CH48 4DQ, within walking distance from the station and town centre bus stops. Further details about the church’s current activities and heritage and are available on the church website, http://www.westkirbymethodist.btck.co.uk/ or by calling the Church Office on 0151 625 3224
