 Free event

Lormac Productions is delighted to present Proms in the Park here in Hoylake.
Working in association with The Friends of Hoylake and Meols in Bloom and Melrose Hall we are very excited to be bringing this event to Queens Park.

We have a line-up of international singers together with a rousing brass band and some home-grown talent, all of which I am sure will bring a magical evening to Hoylake and Meols.

Principal Performers for the evening will be:
Roy Weissensteainer (special guest star) – Rebecca McGreevy – Heather Heighway
Joseph Buckmaster – Samantha Prior – Pamela Ashcroft – Guy Mott – Plus men in black?

We are delighted to have the Formby Brass Band playing as an introduction to the park and proms evening. The evening’s music is a variety of songs taken from the most popular theatre stage musicals that have spanned many decades.
Examples of these are:
Les Miserables – Phantom of the Opera – Sunset Boulevard – Rat Pack -West Side Story
Oklahoma – Show Boat – Blood Brothers – Funny Girl -Wicked – Chorus Line

There will also be a selection of Opera Classics and a Proms sing along with traditional proms songs and hopefully lots of flag waving. (song sheet available at the event).

We are looking forward to meeting and hearing everyone in Queens Park, so please put the dates down in your diary.

The proms are a FREE event but there will be a bucket collection, so we can hopefully continue to put on these great events in our parks
We recommend you bring a folding chair, mat or blanket to sit on.
