Sandwich chain Subway has opened a new store in West Kirby this week.
The shop, which is based on the site of the former Coral betting shop, on Banks Road, has undergone a major refit.
The store, which is one of 6 Subways owned by Wirral businessman Anthony Deegan, has created 10 new jobs in the area.
Anthony began his career as a manager for Subway before buying the franchise for the store he managed in Bold Street, in Liverpool.
He now owns further stores in Oxton, Tranmere, Norris Green and Tuebrook.
The West Kirby store will be open Monday to Saturday, from 7am – 10pm and on Sunday from 9am.
The store includes a 32-seater eating area as well as takeout service, with a delivery service also in the pipeline.
